Privacy Notice

MG only asks for information reasonably needed to respond to an enquiry or deliver requested work. This may include your name, contact details, requested service, enquiry details, files or content you choose to provide, project communications, and payment or transaction records where applicable.

Please do not send identity numbers, financial account credentials, medical details or other sensitive information unless it is genuinely required for an agreed service and MG has asked for it.

Information is used to answer enquiries, prepare quotations, agree project scope, communicate about work, provide requested services, keep necessary business and accounting records, protect legitimate business interests, and meet legal obligations.

The website's quote form prepares a WhatsApp message on your device. MG's website does not save the information entered into that form. Information is sent only when you continue to WhatsApp and choose to send the message.

MG does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary with service providers that support hosting, email, communications or project delivery; with an independent specialist such as a web-development partner after the project arrangement is explained; when you consent; or when required by law.

WhatsApp, email and other third-party services process information under their own privacy terms. Only information relevant to the requested work will be shared with a collaborator, and confidentiality and appropriate handling will be expected.

MG uses reasonable organisational and technical safeguards appropriate to a small owner-operated business. Access is limited to information needed for the work, and reasonable steps are taken to protect records against loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure.

Personal information is kept only while needed for the enquiry or service, for reasonable follow-up, or for legal, tax, accounting and dispute-resolution requirements. When no longer reasonably required, information is securely deleted, destroyed or de-identified where practical.

MG does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising trackers, Meta Pixel or other behavioural analytics on this website, and the website does not currently set non-essential tracking cookies. A consent banner is therefore not shown.

The hosting provider may process ordinary technical request information, such as an IP address, browser type and access time, for security and reliable delivery. The site also loads web fonts from Google, which may receive technical request information under Google's own privacy terms. If tracking technology is introduced later, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated first.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether MG holds personal information about you, request access to it, ask for inaccurate or incomplete information to be corrected, object to certain processing, or request deletion or destruction where retention is no longer authorised or required.

You may also complain to South Africa's Information Regulator. MG will first try to resolve any privacy concern directly and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Lawful access procedures, limits or fees under POPIA or PAIA may apply where relevant.

To request access, correction or deletion where applicable, or to raise a POPIA or PAIA-related query, contact Marvin Govender and describe the information or request clearly. MG will respond within a reasonable period and explain if any information must lawfully be retained.
